Purchase of Service Agreements for Child Care Operators

The DSSAB as CCSM may enter into a legal agreement with licensed
child care operators to deliver early learning and child care services to
support families who reside in the district of Parry Sound. These contracts are
intended to provide flexibility, access and choice of service for families,
support Ontario’s Workforce Strategy and improve high-quality and affordable
child care. 

Who can enter into a Purchase of Service Agreement?

Licensed child care operators who;

• Are participating in the Canada-wide Early learning and Child Care system (CWELCC). 
• Are not eligible to participate in CWELCC as the operator exclusively provides services children 6 to 12 years of age.
• Licensed operators may be not-for-profit and for-profit operators who meet all financial, operating and licensing requirements in compliance with legislation and local DSSAB policies.
